The weekend series continued Sunday with the "Pioneer's Park Grand Prix" on the familiar 2-mile circuit west of Lincoln. Three members of the PIF crew competed and enjoyed much less windy conditions than Saturday's crit.

Buddy Houts once again raced twice finishing 2nd in the Junior race and 18th in the Category 4 race.

Vaughn Pierce (KAOS-Alegent Health) won the Category 3 race. Jeff Kluck finished 6th.

Adageo Energy Cycling Team pro Tim Farnham won the Category 1/2 race. Jon Nelson came in 8th.
